CES 2010

By Carly

The 2010 Consumers Electronic Show is currently happening – and there are several gadgets that are being unveiled that I simply can’t wait to see, primarily the iSlate. But even though Apple may overshadow many of the big ticket items at this year’s CES with the iSlate, there are several other pieces of technology to look forward to.

  1. Motorola’s Backflip Android Device – While I would almost place any betting money on the iPhone winning the smart phone wars, I do look forward to seeing more competition in this arena. I think we’ll see several strong contenders in 2010, including the recently released Nexus One.
  2. 3D TV – In my heart, I’m nothing more than a couch potato. I even ended up buying myself a Snuggie recently. My ideal Friday night is pizza and a marathon of Cheaters. (That show is hilarious.) So yeah, I’m really excited about 3D TV. Granted, the idea has been around for some time, but considering how many new models are being showcased at CES, it’s shaping up to become much more mainstream.
  3. This see-through laptop – Samsung created a laptop with no special features other than a transparent screen. Huh? I don’t understand why you would want one of these … but it looks really cool and can also lead the way to new, more relevant technologies.
  4. This Android-powered smartbook – I just think this is cool.

And, of course, I am looking forward to all things Apple.

Any new gadgets being unveiled at CES 2010 that you’re looking forward to seeing?

Soon after receiving the BACKFLIP inside the mail I was delighted yo know I could update the new firmware. I missed the rush, and it was lucky. I’ve had the Backflip for more than a month a few details three or 4 crashes in a month not poor for 15-20 apps open New WIFI things, plus a greater edge dada than prior Nokia E61 and N93 Fantastic that the BACKFLIP features a flex keyboard, the screen is usually a bit challenging on the edges. You get 500 messages a day from Twitter, Facebook, Yaho, and who actually else yopu want. If you’ve 30-60 true close friends, it is a excellent telephone if you might have far more it’s going to grab as well significantly info. Just a month but a great mobile phone.
