Getting Organized!

Getting Organizedby Kim

We could all probably be more organized, but it is amazing how a little organization can make your life easier!  I am learning that organization is more than just the “OCD” tendencies I had always teased my mom about.  I am not always great at it, but little things like putting my keys in the same spot, or getting my daughter’s clothes ready the night before school make a HUGE difference in making life easier! A little bit of planning ahead is important in being organized!  How many times have you been running late, go to grab your keys, and then you realize… “I CAN’T FIND MY KEYS!”  Panic sets in and then when you finally do find your keys, you are that much later and, if you are like me, now you are CRANKY!

Organization will help you in your professional life as well. Take a minute and write down an appointment rather than just making a mental note of it.

Planning ahead also keeps you on track. Take a minute at the beginning of each week to get organized and focused.  It may not seem like much, but write down all of your appointments, ball games, practices, and meetings.  That way, when your potential new client calls for a meeting, you won’t double-book yourself.  And with the price of gas today, you can book your appointments together so you won’t be running all over town!

With just a little bit of organization, you will be amazed how different your life will be!  You will stay on task, know your appointments ahead of time and be more in control of your life!

There may still never be enough time in the day, but by planning ahead and getting organized, you can make the most of what time you do have!
