When developing and designing websites, handy icons can be a real life saver. Instead of designing commonly used elements from scratch every single time you need them, having some good, classic sets on file can allow you to focus on the big picture of your project, like the overall design, usability or functionality. Nancy O’Neill is the Creative Director, I’m the Assistant Creative Director and Brandon is the Director of Digital Communications.
How to Give Constructive Criticism without the Sting.
How many times have you been asked if you like something and you say “looks great!” when you’re really thinking “BURN IT!?” I think it’s happened to everyone. It’s not easy to tell someone that you don’t love everything about their work.

The Importance of Thinking Through Your Designs: Top 5 Benefits of Thoughtful Design

Unfortunately, more and more designers are stuck on this path. Truly great design, however, comes from very little of that creative, free spirit and instead comes mostly from careful, measured and highly analytical solutions to complex problems. (more…)
