Situation
In 1995, the American Fence Association (AFA) recognized the need to improve market awareness and internal communications and issued a Request For Proposal with a very limited budget.
Action
O’Neill Communications began with a $40,000 annual marketing budget and, over the past 14 years, has managed every aspect of AFA’s marketing including membership, advertising, and trade show promotion campaigns. The firm has contributed on a continuing basis to the continued success and increased awareness of the association.

Results
AFA has grown the revenue from its trade show, FENCETECH, by over 400 percent, shown 19 percent in membership growth, and further increased awareness among both internal and external markets. From a small beginning, AFA has grown to be one of O’Neill Communication’s largest and longest tenured clients.
