Situation
A group of entrepreneurs were introducing accounts payable auditing of telecommunications bills for accuracy and contract compliance.
Action
To enhance their credibility and improve market penetration, O’Neill Communications created a corporate capabilities brochure. In addition, a unique sales promotion campaign was developed to increase the number of appointments with key, targeted executives using a series of personally autographed baseballs by Atlanta Brave greats Greg Maddox, Andrew Jones, and Chipper Jones.
Result
The sales promotion campaign created new sales opportunities while the corporate brochures created more credibility. This attracted the attention of PRG-Schultz, the world’s largest AP recovery auditing firm, which subsequently acquired the ITM Group and retained O’Neill Communications on a broader basis.
